Do you need to travel, know if you are free of COVID or simply if you have passed the Covid?
Detection of COVID-19, PCR test, Antigens and Serologicals.
COVID-19 detection test:
PCR, Antigens and Serologicals
PCR, Antigens and Serologicals
As part of our action device against the coronavirus pandemic, at Vital & Clinic we make Covid-19 detection tests available to our patients.
If you are interested in taking the test, you only have to request an appointment and we will have the results in the shortest possible time.
The regulations establish that these Covid-19 tests must be carried out exclusively under medical prescription. For the peace of mind and comfort of our users, we have set up an exclusive room with individual entrance for conducting COVID-19 tests.
Our commitment in this pandemic keeps us moving forward and offering the best of ourselves.
Also, we make PCR, ANTIGEN AND SEROLOGICAL TESTING available to your company, to ensure the safety of your equipment.
PCR
Perhaps, the best known, a highly reliable test
with which to know if you are infected with the virus at the time of the test.
PCR test results: 24/48 hours max.
Rapid Antigen Test
With information similar to that obtained in the PCR test,
it is done in the first five days of symptoms.
Antigen test results: 15 minutes
Antibody or serological test
Perfect to know if the disease has passed
and antibodies have been generated after having overcome the coronavirus.
Results of the serological test: 24/48 hours max.

How to detect the COVID-19 virus with a PCR test?
The PCR test is a type of test that helps to locate and amplify a fragment of genetic material, when we talk about coronavirus we refer to the RNA molecule.
After the microbiological analysis, there are two possible results:
-
Make it positive, as the test detects RNA from the virus.
-
Or negative, the PCR technique does not detect the genetic material of the virus.
When there is significant clinical suspicion, another test should be performed to ensure that the patient is not infected with the virus.
PCR test results: 24/48 hours max
How does a serological antibody test detect the COVID-19 virus?
This type of test is primarily responsible for:
- Observe if there is any type of infection by analyzing the existing antibodies in the body and allows that if a person suffers from an infection, the body will generate more antibodies.
- Serology will detect these new antibodies that are being generated and determine the type of infection suffered.
- Therefore, you can know if you have previously suffered an infection and if you are immune to SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Serological test results: 24/48 hours max
Efficacy of antigen testing to detect COVID-19
It is a certified test that detects SARS-CoV-2 disease.
It does not require instrumentation and its results are delivered in 30 minutes, which makes it a valuable tool for massive tests in decentralized environments. It is also a more accessible option.
Rapid antigen testing is not useful in supporting public health strategies, such as contact tracing and large-scale testing of people suspected of having an active infection.
Antigen test results: 15 minutes
